1st anniversary of the European COREu project: focus on key technologies for the CO2 capture, transport and storage chain

17.04.2025

Launched in January 2024, the European COREu project aims to accelerate the development of the CO₂ capture, transport and storage (Carbon Capture and Storage - CCS) value chain in Central and Eastern Europe. Based on concrete demonstrators and a strong collaborative dynamic, the project intends to structure an open, connected and interoperable transnational network, while overcoming the sector's major technical and organizational hurdles.

As a partner in Work Package 2 (Core Technologies), NaTran R&I is particularly involved in aspects linked to metrology and CO₂ flow analysis.

Three major contributions from NaTran R&I marked this first year:

The COREu project is co-financed by the European Union as part of the Horizon Europe program (GA n° 101136217). For further information, visit the project website: https: //coreu.eu/
